Prickly Ash Bitters fell out of production in the 1910s when it was found to have less medicinal properties than originally suggested. But, at the end of the day, it was a tasty alcoholic beverage. That’s why Boot Hill Distillery resurrected the antiquated recipe. Each bottle is packed with unique botanicals from prickly ash bark, buchu leaves, coriander, grains of paradise, senna and cubeb peppers. Just a dash of the rejuvenated bitters will give any drink a purely prickly kick you can’t find elsewhere.
